Wedges.-A clamping member for use in securing electric conductors in rectangular holes has eccentrically related curved surfaces d, e, adapted to exert a wedging action when the device is partially rotated. It may be formed from a blank, as shown in Fig. 4, with a tongue g which is bent down on to the conductor after insertion into the hole to secure the fastening. Alternatively the wedge may be retained in position by means engaging a tail piece h.
