Abstract

192,950. Lowe, J. H. March 9, 1922. Watermarking.-The watermark is mounted on a tablet a, Fig. 3, of gauze or the like, or on strips of wire f, Fig. 4, and detachably fastened to the surface of the dandy roll by means of press buttons c or like two-part fasteners. The surface of the dandy roll mav be recessed to receive the tablet, the recessed part being provided with a frame around its edge.
