Abstract

191,900. Remington, A. A. Nov. 22, 1921. Laminar springs.-In a laminated spring comprising auxiliary or " above " blades, these blades a<4>, a', Fig. 4, are connected at their ends with corresponding ordinary blades c<3>, c<4> by pivoted links or shackles b. The ends of the blades are bent over to form eves to receive the shackles which also serve to keep the blades in alignment. As shown in Fig. 6, the end of the auxiliary blade a<6> has a curvature similar to that of the main spring.
