Abstract

16,446. Blackburn Aeroplane & Motor Co., and Blackburn, R. Nov. 22. Stamping numbers &c. on machine parts &c. of circular section, and on other objects, by a die roll 11 oscillated by a hand-lever 26, and a pair of supporting-rolls 5. The support of one of the rolls 5 is adjustable along slots in the bed 1, which is hinged to a fixed plate 2 to give access to the nuts 9. The die roll is carried loosely by a frame 23 and is engaged by pressure rollers 21 mounted on a lever 12. The pivot 19 of the lever 12 is adjustably secured in a slot 18.
