Abstract

16,162. McMahon, T. G., and Fritz, G. E. Nov. 16. Tecth, artificial.-Tooth facings are provided with baked-in flat metal anchor pins with their greatest width disposed longitudinally of the tooth. The anchor pins are of thin metal of thirty-four or thirty-six gauge. Fig. 3 shows one form of pin in which the part entering the tooth has roughened, notched, or saw edges 3, whilst the part engaging the backing is pointed at 4 with rounded corners 5. Figs. 5 and 6 show other forms suitable for metalwork, and Figs. 4, 7, and 8 show modifications for use with rubber dentures.
