Abstract

14,517. Remington, H. W. Oct. 14. Contents, delivering; lids and covers. -A soap container, more particularly for shaving-soap, of the kind in which the soap is fed by a plunger working on a rotatable screw rod, has a removable bottom 10 which is locked in position by a rotatable member 23 carried by the bottom. The member 23 is pivoted on the inner side of the bottom and carries a tongue 24, which projects through a slot in the bottom, so that, by moving the tongue in the slot, the member 23 may be engaged in or released from grooves in the body portion 9. The feed-handle, 21 is located iu a recess formed in the bottom. The upper end, instead of being constructed as shown in Fig. 1, may have a separable upper end fitting into the body and carrying the cap. The space between the body and the soap below this separate portion may be lined with paper.
