7145. Peterson, L. A., and Andersson, G. L. May 14, 1914, [Convention date]. Gear-cutting; milling-cutters. - Gear teeth are chamfered by a cutter having a pilot 11 engaging the sides of the teeth. In the arrangement shown, in which the cutter axis is stationary, a handle 4 serves to rotate the table 3, carrying the wheel, about a pivot 5 in a base 7, and at the same time to slide on ways 9 a table 8 to which the base is bolted.
