Cases; horns and trumpets, arranging and supporting.-A gramophone or like instrument is enclosed in a box 1, the tone-arm 4 directing the sound to an opening 8 in the hinged lid 6, which opening communicates with a horn adapted, when collapsed, to lie closely against the lid. The horn comprises a substantially triangular top-piece 9 hinged at its smaller end 11, and two side walls 10 adapted to fold under the top-piece when collapsed, the whole then lying in a recessed part of the lid 6. The lid 6 is closed while a record is being played, but is held raised by a strut 13 when it is desired to replace a record. The sides 10 of the horn may be formed in two parts hinged together.
