Treadle mechanism.-Ski-cycles and other children's cycles constructed with a low baseboard are provided with propelling-mechanism consisting of a crank 8 on the spindle of the rear wheel or wheels 7, a two-armed treadle-lever 9 located at one side, and intermediate between the ends, of the base-board 1 with its arms projecting upward, and a link 14 connecting the rear arm of the treadle-lever to the crank. The mechanism may be fitted on one, or on each, side of the baseboard.
