Abstract
1286. Kremenezky, J., [Firm of]. Feb. 21, 1914, [Convention date]. Void [Published under Sect. 91 of the Act]. Electric hand-irons.-The heaters are arranged in connexion with a metal heat-emitting plate and a metal heat-accumulating body. As shown in Fig. 3, a zigzag metal strip is mounted with mica insulation between a thin metal heating-plate 2 and a thick iron plate 3, and secured by bolts, which also hold a plate 4 of earthenware or other heatinsulating material and a plate 11 'on which the handle and terminals are mounted. In the form shown in Fig. 6, a coil of thin metal strip wound with mica insulation, and a reinforcing-strip of iron are set on edge in a groove in an iron soleplate 9 with filling-platea 10 and a cover-plate 4 of earthenware.
