Buddling-apparatus; rotary washing-apparatus; stationary-vessel washing-apparatus.- Ores are concentrated on a frosted or fluted or frosted fluted surface of glass or other material, such as brick tile or porcelain. When a fluted surface is used, it is stationary or has a continuous movement in the direction of the flow of the pulp. The apparatus may comprise a wheel a, one side of each compartment of which is provided with a lining b of fluted or frosted glass. The pulp is fed to the wheel so as to rotate it, and the gangue flows off the surface into a trough c, while the values are retained by the flutes and pass into a trough d.
