Gaseous mixtures. - A mixture of hydrogen and carbon dioxide is obtained by passing a mixture of carbon monoxide, or gases containing carbon monoxide, and steam over a catalyst consisting of an alkali ferrite which has been lixiviated so that a portion of the alkali is removed.
