Explosions, preventing in mines.-A dustdistributing truck for discharging air laden with non-inflammable dust against the roof and part of the sides of the roadway of a mine, in order to minimize the danger of explosions, comprises a dust-container a from which the dust passes into a suction pipe b, b<2> connected to the casing of a centrifugal fan d, which discharges the dust-laden air through one or more openings in the periphery of the fan casing. The fan shaft l may be driven from one of the travelling-wheels f by means of a belt k and friction - wheels. The bottom of the container a is inclined from each side towards the centrally-arranged pipe b, which is provided with inlet openings, and, if desired, with a liner having corresponding openings, the liner being partly or completely rotatable. A screw conveyer may be employed for delivering the dust to the fan.
