Hand lamps without lanterns.-The glass sealing and extinguishing cap B of a glass spirit lamp G is provided with a cork or other compressible lining E which renders a ground joint unnecessary, Alternatively, the lining-ring may be applied to the lamp neck F. The cap may have straight sides and may be cylindrical. In another arrangement, the lining-ring is arranged in an internal groove in the cap. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specification 11,421/91, [Class 126, Stoves &c.].
