Cleaning internally, rotary appliances for. - A rotary cleaner for boiler tubes consists of a bead 2 carrying cutters 6, journaled at 14 in radially adjustable blocks 9, 10 and having right and left handed threads. The blocks are moved in and out, to control the cutting diameter, by means of cones 5, 8 which are adjustably pressed towards each other by springs 4, 11 controlled by a screw plug 15, and are traversed by a shaft 3 having a polygonal head for an operating-key. The upper cone slides freely on the shaft and abuts on a collar, as shown ; the lower one is threaded on the shaft. The sliding blocks are retained in the radial slots in the tool by screws 17 which engage recesses in their outer surfaces. The whole device is rotated in the tube by a shaft having a recessed extremity to engage the polygonal head 2<1>.
