Abstract

28,944. Widmer, H. A. Dec. 15. Reservoir pens. - In order to conduct the ink from the reservoir to the point of a flat nib suitable for writing, ruling, lettering, &c., the heel 3 of the nib 1 is provided with feedchannels 12 such as have been provided in the ordinary curved nibs of fountain pens. The channels 12 are preferably formed on both surfaces of the heel of the nib, and the nib is used in conjunction with a feed 6 formed of a split tube shaped to receive the channelled heel. Shoulders on the nib abut against the end 4 of the pen-section 5 in order to limit the extent to which the nib is inserted.
