26,358. Johnson, P. C. Nov. 17. Automatic road-vehicle signals.-An electric horn is automatically operated from the steering-gear of a motor-vehicle. In the form described, a spring- controlled plunger 14 is mounted in a collar on the hub of the steering-wheel, and is adapted to close an electric horn circuit through contacts 10 when the wheel is turned. The contacts 10 have cut-away parts 18, and are arranged as shown to give one continuous blast or two short blasts according to the direction in which the wheel is turned.
