Abstract

20,412. Richardson, W. J., and Etheridge, H. Sept. 9. Paper-carriages.-In a roller bearing for papercarriages, the rollers C have reduced ends C<1>, and are retained diagonally in slots D<2> in a separator D, the edges of each slot engaging the shoulders at both ends of the roller. Each slot is of a size to accommodate two rollers, set with their axes at right-angles to one another. The rollers run in rectangular grooves in the rails of the frame A and carriage B. A tongue D<5> on the separator D engages stops D<6> on the frame A to limit the movement of the rollers.
