Reversible windows.-A reversible 'sash 3 is supported by stays 7 pivoted to the sash at 9, and by arms 4 pivotally connected at 10 to the stays 7 and at 6 to the window frame, the sash 3 and stays 7 being pivotally connected to runners. 16, 12 sliding in grooves 20 in the window frame. The runners 16 are carried by a pin 18 mounted in a socket 19 on the sash and are pressed against the grooves 20 by a spring 17; and the runners 12 have projecting portions 21 which work behind a plate 13 secured to the window frame. The arms 4 are temporarily attached to the frame by a screw passing through a slot 14 in fixing plates 5 to which the arms are pivoted. This enables the correct position of the plates 5 to be determined.' The lower ends of the arms 4 are curved.,
