Coffee preparations; tea preparations.- Extracts of coffee, tea, &c. are strained, passed through a filter-press having steam-jacketed plates, and evaporated to dryness in vacuum pans. The distillate may be used as infusing iiquid. All metal parts of the apparatus are tin or silver lined.
