Kinematograph apparatus. - Apparatus for facilitating the focusing of a kinematograph camera comprises a sliding punch 1 operated from the exterior of the camera to punch a hole in the film while it is in the gate 5, the hole being of such a size and in such a position that when the feed-mechanism is operated it is brought into axial alinement with the lens and a focusing-screen 18 in the film gate 5 so that the picture can be seen on the screen 18 bv reflection in a mirror 23, which is visible through a sight-aperture in the side of the camera.
