[Addition to 29,380/12.] Gear-cutting.-Machines operating according to the method described in the parent Specification have special driving-gearing for producing the distribution of the irregularities. The parent worm-wheel h rotates about an axis B eccentric to the axis A of the work-table. Drive is transmitted by gear teeth c, preferably of fine pitch and in engagement over a considerable arc. In a modification, the internal teeth are on the work-table, and in a further modification, the axis of the worm-gear is inclined to the axis of the work-table and the teeth c are formed as bevels.
