Abstract

5836. Electric and Ordnance Accessories Co., and Howell, E. March 10. Fusible cut-outs.-The terminal ends 8 are secured to the body 4 of a fuse-holder by means of clips 7, which are mounted on the body and engage the edges or sides of the terminal ends. In the form shown, the inner ends of the terminal ends are forked and the arms 2 thus formed are inserted in slots in the body 4, the clips 7 being mounted in circumferential grooves on the body so as to engage gaps 6 in the outer edges of the arms 2. Each terminal end may be provided with an ear or projection which is placed between the arms 2 and carries a fibre disk serving to close the end of the fuse-holder. The inner ends of the terminal pieces may be plain instead of forked, and may be formed with holes instead of gaps for the engagement of the clips 7.
