Abstract

5828. Educational Supply Association, Wollard, H., and Lodge, J. H. F. March 8. Sliding-folding doors &c.-Pairs of leaves 1, which may be hinged together at 2, are hinged to sliding uprights 3, which are provided at one end with runners 4 engaging a 'rail 5, and at the other end with rollers 6 engaging a groove 7 to prevent the uprights from turning. The thickness of a pair of leaves, when folded, is equal to the width of an upright 3. The guiderail 5 is formed without sharp angles, and the grooves in the flanges 11 are deeper than the flanges of the runners 4. Other forms of rail are shown in Figs. 5 and 6.
