Abstract

2447. Field, G. Jan. 30. Hooks fixed to walls and flat surfaces. - A detachable hook for walls, cabins, &c., of the kind which can be connected to a fixed attachment plate by a dovetailed joint, is provided with a spring catch 6, Fig. 1, engaging a recess in the plate, but capable of being released by forcibly pushing the hook upwards. The catch may be mounted on the plate instead of on the hook, or, as shown in Fig. 11, may be arranged transversely across the plate. In another form, a ball 9, Fig. 12, is used, pressed out by a spring. Several hooks may be attached in the manner described to one plate.
