2226. Hampton, W. Jan. 28. Dust - bins; disinfecting dust-bins.-The top of a sanitary dust-bin is strengthened by the attachment of an external channel rim E, Figs. 1 and 3, secured by rivets and adapted to contain water, sand, disinfectant, &c. into which the flange of the cover D dips. In Fig. 3 the cover extends over the channel to exclude rain.
