Abstract

28,199. Brown, C. W. W. Dec. 6. Wire strainers.-The device, which is stated to be specially applicable to reinforced-concrete fence posts, comprises a strainer adapted to be secured to the post by a bolt h passing through holes in the strainer and in the post. The strainer consists of a bracket a in which is mounted a drum provided with a ratchet and pawl. To allow wires to be attached to the other side of the post, the nut k may take the form of an eye nut, or a swivel may be secured to the nut.
