Abstract

26,122. Ruez, P. J. Nov. 14. [Addition to 1084/12.] Sprinkling-apparatus, non-automatic; portable pressure reservoirs.-In apparatus for extinguishing fire in kinematograph cabins, as described in the parent Specification, capsules of compressed carbon dioxide are provided for forcing the liquid from the tank. Two capsules 107 are screwed into members 109 communicating with the interior of the tank 100, and are opened by spring-pressed piercers 110, which are normally held inoperative by pins 115 and are released therefrom by the lifting of a rod 114 by means of cords k, k<1>. The ends of the piercers are perforated to facilitate the outflow of gas from the capsules. The tank 100 is provided with an inlet 103, an air hole 104, an overflow cock 105, and a siphon discharge pipe 102 connected to the rose 101.
