Couplings, disconnectible; rod couplings.-In side-car attachments or couplings for motorcycles &c., in which a pair of interengaging elements attached respectively to the cycle and the side-car are secured together bv an embracing sleeve or other fastening, the interengaging portions a, c of the elements are made of a concave and convex form both in the longitudinal direction, Fig. 2, and also in the transverse direction, Fig. 3. The members when placed together are held by a split sleeve e which may be slid into position and then given a part turn in order that a peg f on the member c may prevent longitudinal displacement of the sleeve; or the sleeve may be adapted to engage one of the members by a screw-thread.
