Washing-machines with rotary dollies and with axially-moving dollies; starching.-In order that clothes may be dollied and boiled at the same time, they are placed in a cage adapted to be removably inserted in a copper and composed of an upper rim a and a perforated ridged bottom a<2> connected by rods c. A lid d mounted on the cage has a central aperture to guide the dolly stem e<1>. The apparatus may also be used for starching clothes.
