Spring wheels with continuous outer rigid ring and pneumatic and like cushions.-The tread ring J, preferably of fibre, is supported on a pneumatic tube I which is moulded to fit within a channel rim B and between the extended 'side rings C. The radial extent of the shouldered parts K of the tube is less than the extent of the flanges C above these parts, so that, in the event of deflation of the tube, the tread ring J is prevented from leaving the rim at the top of the wheel. Non-creeping devices such as pins L may be fitted between the tube and the rim B, and the tube and tread may be interlocked as at 0, N.
