Link-work.-In a device of the kind in which a centrally pivoted lever such as j transmits rotary motion between shafts g, h upon opposite sides of a flexible watertight partition c, the ends of the lever j directly engage the slotted ends i of the shafts, instead of cranks or forks carried thereby, this arrangement allowing the shaft ends to be guided and supported by tubular branches or extensions e, f of the central cup members a, b which support the spherical enlargement d forming the fulcrum of the lever j.
