Bakers' ovens.-In a gas-heated oven having superposed chambers, two rows of burners C, c, C<1>, c<1> of different size are employed to heat each chamber, both being lit for rapidly raising the temperature, and a single row being employed for maintaining it. Air for combustion is supplied by nozzles F, f, F', f', and the two rows of burners are separated by partitions P, P<1>. The ovens are heated by liquid-containing-tubes B, B', which are provided with envelopes H, H' having wings h, h<1> to ensure efficient contact of the gases The gases from the lower burners pass into chambers I in the side walls, whence they are led by tubes J to the envelopes surrounding the upper tubes, and, together with the gases from the upper burners, pass through flues l, L, L' into an upper chamber M, which contains waterheating coils N,
