Pipe cutters.-A pipe-cutting device of the type in which the cutting-tool is mounted in a slideway in a circular frame, means being provided for centrally clamping the device to the pipe, comprises two annular slides b, c, one carrying the cutting-tool g and the other provided with eccentric threads c<1> in the manner of a worm for engaging teeth on the radiallysliding clamping-members d, which are simultaneously operated to centre the device and clamp it to the pipe. The slide f carrying the tool is provided with worm threads engaging with a worm-wheel l mounted on the annular slide b, which wheel is connected with a ratchetwheel m fed by a pawl o on the casing a at each rotation. The casing is in halves connected together by tenons t on one part entering corresponding cavities in the other part and clamped by screws u. The clamping-members are provided with axially-displaceable screws s.
