Abstract

10,926. Pauli, G. May 8. Hardening ground.-For remedying faults in bore-holes in water-bearing strata, cement or the like is fed under pressure to the space between the boring-rod and the wall of the bore-hole, and is forced into the faults by the counter pressure of water supplied through the hollow boring-rod. As shown, cement or the like k is forced into the bore by a pump m, and water is forced down the hollow boring-rod by a pump d. The apparatus can be used in the known single-pressure method by raising the boring-rod clear of the fault, feeding cement down the rod by a hopper, and then setting both pumps to work to force water into the borehole.
