Pottery fittings, attaching. --An alloy, for uniting adhesively porcelain, stoneware, &c. with similar materials or metals, consists of lead, chemically pure tin, and bismuth in the proportions by weight of 10:5:3. The alloy melts at 170‹ C. and is applied in the fluid state.
