Abstract

1481. Riebeck, C. Oct. 26, 1911. Shuttles, weft-tension arrangements for. The weft passes from the cop through a hole 3 in a transverse partition and between a pin 6 fast in the shuttle body and one end of a spring 2, on its way to the eye 1, the other end of the spring being held in a support 5 consisting of a zigzag metal strip secured in the shuttle by means of a screw 4. By placing the spring in different notches of the support, the inclination of the spring and hence the tension of the weft are varied.
