Fixed-chamber apparatus; varying quantity measured.-A device for supplying measured quantities of liquid consists of a measuring-tank mounted on a swivel, so that by tilting the tank a known fraction of its contents can be retained when the rest is delivered. The tank K is supported on a pipe 115 which serves both as an inlet and an outlet pipe and is mounted in the swivel-joint 117. A three-way valve 119 controls inlet and outlet of liquid. At the other end, the tank is supported by a dog 132 operated by a handle 136 and adapted to engage with any one of the teeth of a rack 133, thus allowing the tank to be set at various angles. Beside the rack 133 is a way 133<a> on which runs a roller 131<a> mounted on the same spindle as the dog 131.
