28,864. Miner, L. L. Dec. 21. Fractured bones, splicing.-A metal bar 1 for splicing together the parts of a fractured bone is formed with a longitudinal slot 2 and with serrations 3 engaging with serrated washers 4 through which pass screws 7. The washers are formed with centrally-disposed ribs slidably engaging the slot 2. In a modification, shown in Fig. 7, the sides of the slot 2 are serrated to engage serrations 6' on the rib 5' of the washer.
