Abstract

27,511. Sautriaux, V. Dec. 7. Mattresses. -Spring mattresses &c., of the kind formed of hour-glass springs connected at the tops by helical springs and supported by cross-bearers, have the hour-glass springs 2 connected to the frame 1 by the helical springs 3. The ends 4, 5 of the helical connecting-springs 3 are bent to form hooks, set at angles of about 45 to 60 degrees to one another. The helical springs may be arranged diagonally or in sets connected to rings. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specifications 14,984/91, 4031/92, and 8149/97.
