[Addition to 23,845/05.] Spring wheels with continuous outer rigid ring and rubber-ring and like cushions and helical springs.-Relates to spring wheels rotatable on balls around a fixed hub. A rigid road rim b, Figs. 1 and 2, of channel section embraces a solid rubber cushion g supported on segmental shoes t. Each shoe is pivoted to a rod i bearing on a helical spring enclosed in a tubular spoke f connecting the wooden felloe to a hub x. Balls w are arranged between the hub and a fixed sleeve u, the latter being constructed as described in Specifications 11,483/01 and 5532/03. Recesses g<1> are cut in the cushion, which may be seated on the shoes t instead of partly surrounding them.
