Spring wheels with sectional outer guided members.-The rim and the felloe are provided with circumferential wedge - shaped projections or ribs which cooperate through floating plates to compress an interposed pneumatic cushion transversely. In the form of construction shown, the plates 20 with diverging edges engage the projection d on the felloe and the covers 13 of two pneumatic cushions enclosed between bulged side plates 12. The rim projections d<1> are formed on plates 17 secured to tread members consisting of side plates 31 and' rubber blocks. Bolts 16 with sleeves spacing the plates 12 pass through apertures 35 and recesses 36 in the tread members, which are thus guided and limited in radial movement.
