Inking-apparatus. - A stamp-inking pad is formed of a number of alternate lavers of inkimpregnated and non-absorbent fabric c', mounted on a base a having a rubber cushion b, and clamped thereto by a removable holding- frame d with cover f. When the ink on the top layer is used up, the layer is removed, and also the non-absorbent layer below it, to expose a fresh surface. To obviate soiling of the fingers, each inking-layer is cut away at the corners so that only the non-absorbent layer below it need be touched.
