Single-trigger mechanisms.-Relates to mechanisms having a swinging sear-lifting bar operated by a spring lever which bears successively against mutually inclined vertical surfaces on the hub of the swinging bar, as described in Specification 5150/10. According to the present invention, only two inclined surfaces are provided, and an interceptor prevents the bar from swinging until after the involuntary pull. As shown in Fig. 3, the spring lever g bears first against the top surface e on the hub of the swinging bar a, but when the trigger is pulled, the lever g is shifted bv the overhanging stop m to the lower surface f. The interceptor consists of a bracket i having a projection j extending into the path of the swinging bar, which is provided at the end with a transverse slot k which enables the bar to pass the interceptor when the bar is at the right elevation, i.e., when the trigger has been fully released after the involuntary pull.
