Abstract

[Addition to 22,564/08.] Block tyres. -- In tyres comprising radial lamellae cut from old tyre covers, the lamellae A have rectangular holes cut in their bases, which are slit, are coated with india-rubber glue, and are threaded on a corrugated or otherwise roughened metal hoop D, covered with indiarubber glue, to which they are vulcanized after being pressed together. The tyre is secured by radial bolts F entering the metal hoop.
