Abstract

[Addition to 13,691/10.] Systems, electric.-The ignition system described in the parent Specification is modified so that the mechanical interrupter always controls the ignition, and starting is always effected with the trembler. The auxiliary contact, corresponding to the auxiliary contact 11 in the parent Specification, has two contact points 11, 19. To start, the push-button 5 is depressed, and contact is first made with the trembler blade 14. If the engine has stopped with the interrupter 6 open, trembler sparks are obtained; if the interrupter at starting is closed, the push-button must be further depressed, so as first to open the auxiliary contact and then close it. In this short interval between the open and closed position of the auxiliary contact, the trembler works. Specification 20,623/11 is also referred to.
