Abstract

18,567. Lisner, F. Aug. 17. Fly-screens. - Guard-screens against insects, of the type that are attached to windows and movable therewith, are furnished with reinforcing-bars o<1>, Fig. 4, which run in guides h, Fig. 5, to prevent the screen from being blown out by the wind. The roller upon which the screen is wound is operated by an endless cord passing over a pulley on the end of the roller and another on the window frame, so that the screen and sash move together; or the arrangement of cords l, p, Fig. 3, on the roller g and the pulleys q, x, in connexion with the counterweight o may be employed.
