Dials.-In a handless clock or watch, an archshaped minute-dial B is fixed in proximity to a rotatable circular hour-dial A, the graduations on the minute scale extending from zero in one or both directions over a space a, b corresponding to an hour division p, p on the rotatable dial. When, as shown in the Figure, two sets of minute graduations are provided, the marks at the hour figures on the dial A pointing to these graduations indicate the minutes to and past the respective hours. The dial A rotates once in twelve hours, the arrangement of the figures depending on the direction of rotation. Advertising-matter may be provided on or in proximity to the dials, or may be arranged on a screen covering that part of the hour-dial which is not adjacent to the minute-dial.
