11,716. Wilcox, J. D. May 13, 1910, [Convention date]. Door holders.-Relates to pivoted double hooks which serve to secure a door either open or closed. In the open position, the catch 23 passes through an opening 7 in the door frame, so that it can be manipulated from either side. The catch is pressed to engage either the striking-plate 6 or the opening 7 by a coiled spring strip 18, which is bifurcated at the ends and rolled round the pivot of the catch and a pair of pins thereon.
