[Cognate Application, 21,948/11.] Cabinets and show-cases.-In a display case for collars &c. of the kind comprising an upright receptacle 1 having end caps 2, 3 and brackets 12, 13 for supporting it on a wall or shop front &c. and a rod 6 fitted with a number of clips for supporting various articles such as collars &c., the bottom bracket is made so that it is detachably held in a wall fitting 15 and shaped at its end so as to prevent swinging, and the upper bracket 12 is hinged to a wall fitting 19 and slotted at its outer end so as to pass over a staple 21, to which it may be secured by a padlock or other fastening. The clips 10 are fitted so as to be vertically adjustable, and may take the form of three radial arms 24, Fig. 8, two of which terminate in hooks 25 for supporting the edge of a collar, while the third terminates in a button or stud 26. The upright 6 may be cranked at the ends, as shown in Fig. 2, so as to be situated near the back of the case, and is secured by screwing the ends into plates 8, 9 on the end caps 2, 3. The upper end of the central upright 6 shown in Fig. 8 may pass through a bush 8 and screw into the plate 27, to which the staple is secured. The case 1 may be of glass or other transparent material, and the rod 6 and clips may be omitted. According to the Provisional Specification, the ends of the upright 6 may be flanged or secured by a cotter.
